Summit SWCD provides educational models and displays on loan at no charge, to public and private schools, home schoolers, youth groups, church groups, parks and recreation educators, and any other group in Summit County wishing to use them for educational purposes. These models include the Enviroscape, groundwater modeling, streamulator, and much more! We also have educational displays, printed materials, and information on how to get and use free materials from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife. As time allows, we will come to the classroom or youth group meeting and give presentations on subjects that fit the classroom area of interest or project focus.
Please see the resource section below for a full list of the displays we have available to borrow. For more information on models, brochures, and classroom materials, please contact Sandy Barbic at (330)-926-2452
