"... a unique and enjoyable experience designed to stimulate, reinforce, and enhance interest in the environment and natural resources among high school students."
What is the Envirothon?
A competitive outdoor team event, the Envirothon tests students' knowledge of soils, forestry, wildlife, aquatic ecology, and current environmental issues. In addition, the Envirothon encourages cooperative decision making and team building. A team consists of 5 students all from the same high school. An adult advisor(s) must accompany the team, but is not permitted to assist the team during the competition. The winners of the Area II Envirothon will compete in the Ohio Envirothon Contest held in June.
The Area II Envirothon was held on May 3, 2017 at the Buffalo Creek Retreat in Seville, Ohio.
Congratulations to the 2017 Area II Winning Teams!! We wish all of you the very best of luck!!
