Stormwater Inspector
The Stormwater Inspector provides surface water management assistance by performing inspections and providing guidance to ensure compliance related to State, County, and local community codes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections on regulated construction sites to ensure compliance with the approved plans, State, County and local regulations
- Perform inspections on post construction stormwater control measures
- Perform dry weather screening inspections on storm sewer outfalls
- Perform pollution prevention and good housekeeping inspections on municipal owned facilities
- Investigate complaints and provide reports based on observations and findings
- Provide reports and guidance related to the stormwater program to our stormwater program stakeholders

Outreach Coordinator
The Outreach Coordinator is an education and marketing position responsible for implementing education and marketing programs related to the District, County, and stormwater objectives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement stormwater and conservation education and marketing service on behalf of the district, county and surface water management district
- Create and distribute education and market materials
- Meeting the responsibilities and duties outlined in the surface water management plan
- Perform pollution prevention and good housekeeping inspections on municipal owned facilities
- Identify and coordinate efforts with stakeholders such as but not limited to, government organizations, nonprofits, faith-based, civic groups, schools, businesses, and other institutions

Watershed Coordinator (North)
The Watershed Coordinator (North) provides technical and educational assistance in the Lake Erie watersheds of Summit County related to water quality protection efforts, assists in watershed planning to protect the water resources, and networks with citizens, agencies, and organizations on a multi-jurisdictional basis to advocate for behavioral change and establish a permanent local water resource restoration and protection program.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement stormwater and conservation education and marketing service on behalf of the district, county and surface water management district
- Initiate and conduct watershed planning in the Lake Erie watersheds of Summit County, including development of Nonpoint Source Implementation Strategy (NPS-IS) document, collecting and compiling watershed data and information, and identifying and engaging stakeholders
- Communicate and coordinate with the County, Surface Water Management District (SWMD), stakeholders and communities within the designated watersheds by identifying and implementing watershed goals, initiatives, and projects
- Identify and provide general grant assistance to the County and the SWMD
- Develop and coordinate watershed volunteer data collection program to collect water quality data, conduct surveys, and other watershed sampling projects
- Coordinate and collaborate on watershed outreach campaigns within the designated watersheds, provide guidance to landowners on related watershed issues, and attend community events
